| What is food sensitivity?
Food sensitivity is a negative body reaction to a food component. Food sensitivities can be divided into 2 main groups. A small group suffers from true food allergy: 6% in childhood and decreasing with age to about 2% of the adult population. A much larger group – up to 35% complain of food intolerance, which can be proven in only a minority of cases.
What are the diagnostic procedures today?
The diagnostic tools in use to detect food sensitivities are elimination diets from several types that can be defined as: “a method for identifying food allergies or food intolerance by eliminating specific foods or types of food from the diet, one at a time”
What is special about the new computerized elimination protocol (ECP)?
Elimination of specific food components not whole foods.
The elimination model is analytical and not based on trial & error.
Over 30 antigens are individually examined by only 4-8 diet cycles.
Simple and accurate.
Nutritionally balanced.
Based on local food.
Database includes cross reactivity between antigens & food genetically engineered.
Who can use this elimination protocol?
The CEP is made for people suffering from chronic symptoms, which can be related to food, such as abdominal pains; blotting; diarrhea... IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), IBD (specially – Crohn’s Disease).
How long does it take to diagnose my food sensitivity
Usually it takes 4-5 diet cycles to diagnose food sensitivity by the CEP. Each cycle takes about 2 weeks.
What can I expect at the end of the procedure?
You can expect to find out if you have food sensitivity or not. If the answer is yes, you will find out the irritant food component.
